Success and Awards

Students at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts have participated in many different shows, including

• The 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular in more than 60 major cities around the world
• The 2007 Chinese New Year Spectacular in more than 20 major cities around the world
• The 2006 Chinese New Year Global Gala in New York and 16 other cities
• The 2006 Holiday Wonders in New York

These performances provide an important occasion for students to apply their learning, to gain newfound inspiration, and to acquire valuable experience.

As of 2008, several hundred global and local leaders and celebrities have extended their New Year greetings to the Chinese-speaking population via the NTDTV Chinese New Year shows. These leaders include U.S. President George Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, former Taiwanese President Chen Shui-Bian, and Vice President of the European Parliament Charlotte Cederschiold. Some students at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts are also members of the Tian Yin Orchestra.
