Language Programs

The Fei Tian Academy of the Arts offers unique programs in Chinese Language and Culture as well as English language programs geared specifically to professionals who work in the arts or otherwise must write and report on the arts. The courses in the language program are open to students of all ages regardless of grade level as long as they demonstrate that their level of proficiency is suitable for the difficulty of the course.

Fei Tian is an ideal setting for Chinese and English language programs because it is a full-time, bilingual academic institution that promotes cultural awareness and appreciation of both Western and Asian traditional arts. The diverse student body with people from Asia and all over the world only enhances the learning environment and enhances cultural awareness. Students live and breathe both the arts and language learning every day.

Language students have access to a library with English and Chinese books and periodicals as well as computers and audiovisual equipment needed for language learning, including ESL (English as a Second Language) and CSL (Chinese as a Second Language) software. The school provides all instructional and educational materials for the language courses including textbooks, workbooks, CD’s, videos, and lab manuals.
