Guidance and Counseling

Fei Tian designates a qualified staff member as the counselor for each student upon arrival. In the spring of their first year, students have the opportunity to select different counselors if they choose. Students and counselors meet regularly to touch base on the students’ overall status and progress at Fei Tian. Counselors are responsible for giving students all progress reports and report cards, and each will be notified if his or her student is involved in a disciplinary incident at the school.

For students in grades 6-8, the guidance program seeks to assist students in effectively participating in the school’s artistic and educational programs, provide support for the healthy development of the students, and encourage parental involvement. For students in grades 9-12, the guidance program shall additionally provide counseling to help students understand various professional and post-secondary options and prepare them for the paths of their choosing.
